The work is rooted in
ecological cycles of nature and one's relationship to the natural world. Handcrafted
and archetypal, the images evoke a mythopoetic relationship with nature
that expresses places and creatures both real and imagined. Through
tactile, natural materials such as grass seed, spanish moss, topsoil and
feathers the artwork fuses ecology and mythology bearing witness to
nature's power as well as it's vulnerability.
