In her role as Healing Arts Coordinator at Atlantic Health, as well as Chair of  Alliance for Art and Health NJ Lupo has been working actively in clinical environments with patients. This has brought to the forefront conscious exploration of the healing effects of art making as well as it’s ability to communicate things which otherwise might not be articulated and are able to materialize from the deep subconscious.  Lupo’s work in medical environments and being entrenched in the processes of recovery  has enabled her to create this body of work which addresses seminal issues surrounding human suffering and mortality.
